Hisense tv does not read subtitle srt file for moview. But with a few minor tweaks, you can set Plex to automatically download and use subtitles in a process so seamless that you never have to strain to understand what actors are saying again. By default, Plex doesn’t automatically use existing subtitles or download new ones on your behalf. The viedeos show allright but subtitles aren't there, not even the option appears available. Tested in a philips tv and android tablet with kodi. But for TV and other devices I want to use a DLNA server, and I'm aware that srt subtitles support is not something new, but for some reason this don't work for me. on the subject of Vudu and Vudu -related issues (home theater, entertainment, etc).
